Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

I really enjoyed the speech contest. It was very long and I didn't understand most of what people were saying, but I enjoyed working together with my classmates. Being forced out of my comfort zone and having to speak Japanese in order to get the point across to the other students was very good for me.

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

To me, the most interesting and productive aspect were the people. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Even though I struggled a lot, the teachers always seemed to have an unlimited amount of patience for me and would walk me through everything. I also really enjoyed my fellow students, and probably enjoyed spending time more with people from different countries than the ones from America. I hope to have made life long friends.

Testimonials

Not only did I have a great time at KCP, but the improvement I’ve witnessed in my Japanese proficiency is astounding. I still can’t quite believe I’ve learned so much in such a short time. Although I’m sad that I’m leaving by the end of this term, I’ll always have fond memories of my time here. I am truly grateful to all the staff, especially the instructors, as well as my fellow classmates for making my time here exceptional. I highly and without hesitation recommend KCP International Japanese Language School to anyone looking to learn Japanese.
